A friend of mine who has grown children told me I should start recording some of the funny preschooler things Dave does.... she had a friend that wrote down everything and then gave it to her son on his wedding day. It probably will illicite a gigantic eyeroll but it will could be fun to look back on
Dave's been in speech, occupational, and physical therapies since January. His hard work is paying off. The most noticeable difference is his speech and comprehension. It's amazing how his little mind works and you can see connections being made all the time. He is a little sponge.
So naturally, like any other 4 year old...... sometimes things come out funny.
Today he came home from school and wanted a banana. He ate it and then wanted another. After his second large banana, he asked for a third. I told him 3 bananas was too much. He started whining. "Banana GO PARTY in my tummy!" Poor banana doesn't get to join the party in Dave's tummy. He apparently has watched a couple too many episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba lately.
---------------
Today he also asked his first "random" question. "Pigs drink milk?" Where do kids come up with this stuff?

My husband works for corporate Wal-Mart. He was leaving for work this morning and I wanted to see if Dave was aware of where his dad goes every day.
"Where's dad going?"
"Daddy work WalMart!" He said it so proud, like he thought it was so cool that his dad wore a blue vest in the store we visit so often. I didn't want to break it to him it wasn't REALLY Wal-Mart.
____________
Dave got star wars figurines for his birthday last week. It's been hard for him to have to stop playing with them so he can leave for school in the mornings. He is currently under the impression that yoda goes to the Jedi School, another school here locally, so he can't come to school with Dave.
boys are goofy. funny, I just wrote a similar style post. don't you love that guy?
